For what are all those wagons for? Looks like a big diorama with an army on the march or a castle siege

A bit of both. I started with one or two...then liked the look and did some more..... and then some more.....I still have a few more to do...a oxen team for pulling big siege equipment, a couple more carts, some more civilian camp followers etc.
