As most of you may know,450 years ago my country expehttps://www.facebook.com/assaultonthespurrienced a siege by the Ottomans that lasted a whole summer. To commemorate this historical event our modelling club, IPMS-Malta SSM embarked on a group build, a diorama depicting the assault from the sea by the Ottomans on Fort St. Michael in Senglea, aka The Spur. An almost day by day blog on the progress of this amazing project can be followed on facebook

Ready at last!! ☺ Now to be transported to the Grandmasters palace in Valletta to be part of an exhibition on the Siege of Malta from 4th. September to December

Wow...

I think that this is really really amazing work, so big and full of details. I did read somewhere that 1/72 scale is the scale of dioramas and this and the Teutonic project really states this.

Well not actually my period of interest, but why not turn it around and ask if you could do a big medieval diorama? I think that there are plenty of sets to do a great diorama of Malta during the age of the crusades

And I could sponsor with some sets
