Dead genoese crossbowmen

Hi, here are my dead genoese crossbowmen and french spearmen for the battle of crecy. The Valdemar set "VA 105 Skirmish"was great for this. I had to do just little conversions to let the figures look like crossbowmen and not like dead russian knights and teutonic sergerants.

I hope I can finish the diorama soon, but I still need some more mounted knights. I´ve got the Zvezda set of english knights and painted them as french, but I need some other poses for a dynamic dio. I´m waiting for the Emhar knights for nearly two years now, but it seems as they won´t publish them anymore :-( I also added some Valdemar knights but it´s not enough...

Ok, he´s not yet dead but almost dead . He´s representing a genoese crossbowman at crecy, caught between the English lines and the charging french knights. The genoese were ridden down by their own forces, like this figure shows...

An update: The diorama is nearly finished... I still need to paint some french militia and, my biggest problem, I need a good-looking knight who will be "Guy de la Tremoille", the bearer of the Oriflamme. He must be in a relaxed pose, as well as his horse.

It is "2K water gel" from "Noch", but for some reason the ones I´ve made one day later are still a bit sticky on the surface
I´m sure I´ve mixed the components in equal parts, so I don´t know what my mistake was. Now I have to do another thin layer of water gel over the sticky surface, but this must become dry...IT MUST!

oh really nice ! the daylight shoots looks real natural
Do you make the dio piece by piece or wy dident you do last part

What about the Italeri set French Knights and Foot Soldiers

It's suposed to be Jeanne d'Arc, but wont the knights fit for the Oriflamme?

Maybe a good idea with the italeri knights. But maybe they are too small, because the zvezda knights are 25.5 mm, these are just 24 mm. I´ve got another italeri knights set and they look really small next to the zvezda knights.
And yes, I do the dio piece by piece, that´s because I am very impatient. I want to see my dios finished as soon as possible, even if there are only some parts finished

The italeri knights look fine alongside the Zvezda ones...some people were a bit bigger (or smaller) than others so it´s acceptable..

If you could make al little hill for the knight or he can ride a zvezda horse.
perhaps. I would use Livonian Knights banner carrier
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=465

with some conversion, but the pose seams good to me and a good kit to. 24mm they are.

Or this one german knights but 1500s http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1069

Or you could use the falling knight series from valdemar but i think you used them and i am not shure how he got killed?
