The first steps on my new dioramas devoted again to the Middle Ages.
The ram is a siege engine that dates back to antiquity and was used to knock down the walls of fortifications or doors.
This is a classic weapon of the Middle Ages. With the ram, the heavy gates of besieged fortresses are potholed. It also serves to undermine the walls, either thin or poorly maintained, and will lead to break more quickly than in the sap.
Historically the ram was used in the following circumstances:
- Destruction of Jerusalem
- The Crusades
- The fall of Rome
The use of rams had a major effect on the evolution of the design of walls and fortifications.
The material comes from the Green-Line range of home Fredericus-Rex and the walls are simply made of paper plates pen found on the market.
The figurines will ValdemarMiniatures. But first, the mounting base before painting scenery.

Il reste beaucoup de travail... La suite, prochainement.

Looks awsome! The only thing is the position of the ladder. I think it would be nearly impossiple for a knight in full armour to get from the ladder on the walls

@Ben90,
Where do you see the full armor ?
No they are not in full armor !
They have only the coast of stitches !

Shield, weapon and chainmail. The distance between the gap of the pinnacles and the end of the ladder seems a bit too far to me, but that´s just my opinion.

@Ben90,

Translation with google ***
@ Ben90,
The soldiers could not fight all naked !
They must have a minimum of protection ...
As you can see, the set is complete with guards and weapons to the assault ...

I haven´t said that they should fight naked! The only problem is the gap in the red circle (look at the image). I think there´s no way to get on the top of the walls for the attackers. The ladder must only be attached a bit more to the left.

Hi freinds,

Well I do think that it is correct that the ladder should be a little more to the left in order to give the knight some better access to the wall. That said then I would like to say that Mich ones again have done what will be a fantastic diorama, I do not know how you just keep coming up with diorama after diorama and all are so individual?

Superb work my friend!

Best regards
