Wow, very very nice indeed. The painting and the choice of colors are great!

The remaining two figures. Thanks for your comments, Paul, Re flags: I've been using some of Dave Graffam's (davesgames.net) extensive range of downloadable card models - my early attempts at scratch building buildings are embarrassingly bad compared to other Forum members,. The flags are part of his "West Gate" model. His site is well worth checking out and there's a free model inn you can try out. Print it at 72% - not the 65% suggested.

Thanks Steve.
I thought the buildings were real..actual 3D models and not card, they look very 3D. I´d like to have a go at making one....Have you got a link to the site?

Not sure how to insert a direct link but the address - davesgames.net - is correct. His site links directly to a number of online retailers listed down the left - DriveThru /RPG work fine and you can track back to his site without losing the contents of your shopping cart. Print onto 200gs card (Rymans). You'll need a printer that scales as they are in 28mm/30mm scale. They download in a couple of minutes and are really cheap!

Hi Paul,

Fat Dragon Games also do a number of ranges - primarily aimed at the fantasy market. The Dragonshire and Winterhawk ranges have some potential. I tried the stables/"forge" kit ("lean-to" would be more accurate for the forge!). I got the Winterhawk Castle package and have so far done a wall section - impressed by the 3d crenelations and "removable" hoarding option. It all seems compatible with the Graffam models and less garish than some of their artwork looks. Construction is a little more complex than the Graffam models - but instructions are fairly comprehensive.

Sorry, still haven't worked out how to set up the link - address is correct.

Well looks good and realistic to me, but my favourite castle/diorama items are the range from Greenline and then naturally the Valdemar Scenery range

Agreed - no comparison. I only use the card models for photo backdrops - which I make up while waiting for the next set of figures to arrive from Fredericus-Rex..... Ideal for wargamers but not diorama builders ....
