I realized that there is no good Robin Hood-set. We have the Airfix-set, but all the figures are the same small size. There is no Little John figure. Since people were different sizes even in the Middle Ages maybe a set with Robin, Little John and some merry men could be an idea. They shouldn't be too hard to use in other settings either. Already have one Robin-look-a-like in VA167 (Hunters).
I have bought your stable and was planning to buy more of the castle. But now all the parts are gone from Fredericus Rex shop. Is it not possible to buy them anymore or?
Maybe a spearwall (if that's the word) with farmers and common villagers in stead of Soldiers. I Think that was a rather common sight. And maybe a pile of cutdown trees they can hide behind. I know that was pretty common here in my area.
Amled is still trying to understand his invention. He is still on the same place in Stresojekt, but that place isn't as nice as it was. The mayor, Tjong Babblaloss, is the first mayor (there have been 21) to realise that Amled could be a real good tourist attraction, but in a better place. He is trying to convince Amled to move and even gave him new nice clothes.
There are a lot of beggars and a fight have started outside the old inn (now closed since a couple of years).
A lady from one of the nearby castles makes her daily visit to the beggars. She is Susanna von Strunten den Sammen and many of the beggars are former soldiers who followed her brothers to the war. Neither Guthmund nor Siegmund returned, but she show pity on those poor who did return. Her brothers' knightly friends have shared duty following her on her rounds. Today it is Johannes von Lillemo. And he is NOT very happy about it.
But Mr Babblaloss have no chance to talk Amled into moving. He is comfortable where he is. And since he is showing signs of old age in more ways than the looks he better stay where he is. And Tjong will have to find another tourist attraction.
In the town of Stresojekt Amled Rubik is showing his new invention, the cube, on the market square. As more people gather Amled's nervousness grows, he doesn't remember how it works! His parents are not very happy, his old teachers are either embarrased or trying to help him remember. His cousin thinks it's a good laugh.
The old knight, Sir Farbrorbla, come down from the castle with his three daughters and their friends. Actually Amled invited them, but it is no fun for him standing there without being able to say anything. Just to make matters worse he is a little in love with the lady in red, Christine de Burgh, too.
When not even the knight and his family and friends can make Amled talk people lose interest.
Suddenly Brother Gyro from the monastery drops by. But he is upset. He thinks the Amled has stolen his invention, the globe. "What are you doing with my things?" he shouts to Amled. But Amled just looks at his cube without any reaction at all. And when Gyro sees that it is a cube and not a globe he returns to the monastery.
The innkeeper, Absalon Leonardi, has tried to get Amled to eat something the whole day. Now he even brings out his wife and son. Unfortunately their dog, Doggie (very inventive!) comes loose. He is very playful, but Amled is afraid of big dogs. So even if he really feels the hunger he doesn't dare step down or say anything.
The day passes on and Amled stays there and try to remember. Eventually the inn closes and Absalon throws out his last customer for the day, Perikles Hvergang. Perikles try to cheer Amled up, but at the same time Sheriff Copper and his deputies Cling and Klang comes by.
"You better come down now, boy. And stop disturbing the peace!" Sheriff Copper says.
"But, Sheriff, he doesn't disturb any peace he just stand there!" deputy Cling says. "That's right!" deputy Klang says. "Oh, okay!" Sheriff Copper says.
And if Amled hasn't remembered how to use his cube he probably stand there still. On the market square in the town called Stresojekt.
Perikles Hvergang have had a night out with his friends, Pripp, Lyckholm, Johannes Barlikorn and Sir Swan of Mackmyra. Unfortunately the city guard is also out.
Johannes Barlikorn is trying to convince the city guard that they are "perfectly schober".
Perikles and Sir Swan is really trying (or not).
Pripp and Lyckholm seems at least to have a good time.
