Dear Udo
it's amazing how beautiful your knights are. The level is huge and motivates me to keep painting 72 figures. I have now changed my painting technique: acrylic base and then oil painting.
It's actually (theoretically) simple: good models, so Valdemar and good paint. In addition, inspiration from professionals, i.e. Udo and Shep Paine.
And paint ... paint ... and paint a lot more.
Greetings, Patrick -

Exceptional!!! The painting, composition and ground work. The only tiny thing is the gap between his hand and the rein. A tiny bit of green stuff to fill it?

I am concerned about the breakdown of the model. Joining the hull perpendicularly may be difficult without loosing the fine wood details, this may even be more difficult on the inside. One solution is to re-plank the outside of the hull with real wood by using the very thin planking material used on wood ship kits (double planking types). I have experimented this technique on the plastic cog model and it works very well.

In my opinion one of your best castles so far... but still the Kalmar Castle and the Turku Castle in my mind are the best!
Thanks and welcome to the forum -
