Dioramas tiré des faits historiques suivants:

"La bataille de Grunwald ou première bataille de Tannenberg eut lieu le 15 juillet 1410 dans le cadre de la Guerre du royaume de Pologne-Lituanie contre l'Ordre Teutonique. L'alliance du Royaume de Pologne et du Grand Duché de Lituanie, menés respectivement par le roi Ladislas II Jagellon et le grand-duc Vytautas écrasa les chevaliers Teutoniques commandés par le grand-maître Ulrich von Jungingen. La plupart des commandants teutoniques furent soit tués soit capturés. Malgré la défaite, les chevaliers teutoniques parviennent à résister au siège de Marienbourg et les pertes territoriales lors de la Paix de Toruń (1411) sont limitées. Hi Mich.

Well a beutifull piece and I do agree that the banner looks really fantastic. Did you use a sticker on the metal, if so where did you buy... I did actually not expect a mounted knight for this diorama, so you definately got my attention now

I personally do not like the thin paper shields as they somehow looks to clean and especially the edges should be painted and maybe even a little on the back to show the cloth being used fastened on the back side.

The thickness of the shield is to scale.
The rider is not yet attached to the dioramas, he has not received the last shots poinceaux that will make it look "worn" ...
