Not a bad film..especially the historical accuracy, but a bit slow.

I highly recommend the books, lots of historical details and great inspiration for different dioramas. Regarding the movies then the second movie is even better then the first

Ps at the Albion website you can see all the swords from the movie, I got one

Also the movie Ironclad can be recommended... most likely the blodiest medieval movie on the market. Also the Russian movie about Alexander Nevsky and the battle at Neva is good and the uniforms/armour looks very authentic.

Also like the movies. About the historial accuracy (in the books), there are some inaccuracies according the Swedish battles, many of them are thought to be in other parts of the country than where they are in the books. I thought the books were a little light on the personalities, if you are evil you are only evil and very evil and if you are good you are only good and very good. And a bit too much technology when it comes to weapons, but the author loves weapons and he is much worse in other books. A bit slow? You're kidding ! It's Swedish!
