Thank you very much for your compliments, guys! :)The shield was pre- structured, so it was easier to paint the lion on the surface, but I've tested a shadow effect at the edges of the shield front with brighter to darker blue/red.I'll keep workin' on! :)Best regards,Steffen

That are a lot of good ideas and inspirations! I'll guess that I have to do a little walk during the next days and collect some roots of different bushes, trees and plants. Thank you very much for your detailed answer! :) I'll try to use trees of this kind on my next diorama; till this day I was looking out for wintery/ autumn trees in 1/72, but I couldn't find anything usable...Thanks again,Steffen
