It's gonna be a really catching dio! Fantastic work. :)

My favourite miniature is the plague doctor, maybe you could add a small bell to the wagon, if you want?
So the people could prepare for it and get out the bodies.

    Best regards and my compliments,
    Steffen

Thank you very much for your compliments, guys! :)

The shield was pre- structured, so it was easier to paint the lion on the surface, but I've tested a shadow effect at the edges of the shield front with brighter to darker blue/red.

    I'll keep workin' on! :)

    Best regards,
    Steffen

As promised to Cole and Paul, here's my actual project (my debut, if you want), which shows the evening before the battle of Agincourt. There are still a lot of miniatures which have to been painted, also I've got no diorama base yet, but I hope that I can finish my work during spring/ early summer.

All used figures are from valdemar, the tent was built of carved "Mc- Cafe"- Coffee sticks. In the final version I'll keep away a part of the tent plane for a free view inside the whole construct from the backside.

I hope you like the stiff you see- and please don't be miserly with criticism. ;)

    Best regards,
    Steffen

That are a lot of good ideas and inspirations! I'll guess that I have to do a little walk during the next days and collect some roots of different bushes, trees and plants. My first try was to build a tree made of wire and cast, but it didn't look very natural... maybe it's an unwritten rule, that the most authentic plants for modelling are made by nature on its own. ;)

Oh, and thank you very much for your welcome! :)
I always watched out for a introduction are but I couldn't find one yet, so I think it should be okay to start posting.

I hope that I'm able to present my next diorama during the months, but I'm afraid that it will take a while anymore... it treats the evening before the battle of Agincourt and at the moment I'm working at an Earl's tent.

    Best regards,
    Steffen

Thank you very much for your detailed answer! :) I'll try to use trees of this kind on my next diorama; till this day I was looking out for wintery/ autumn trees in 1/72, but I couldn't find anything usable...

    Thanks again,

    Steffen

A very nice idea with a good catched atmosphere! :)

Especially the trees are looking very authentic, what did you use for them?

    Best regards,
    Steffen
